Elizabeth assists clients to demonstrate to local planners a responsible long term business case for new development, planned so as to enhance their locations. Current client issues include housing in multiple occupation, and ways of providing for S106 agreements to cover combined community and health facilities and the community needs base evidence to secure arts provision.
She also helps businesses seeking new premises, and trying to evaluate wheter their use would be accepted by planners. For example when is an arts business a business and when is it an installation, an event space, or, if it is visited by clients, an educational space? Should we have a new category - the semi-industrial park? Or the Creative Industry Park?
